1991年4月5日生まれ。東京都出身。2008年、バンド「The SALOVERS」を結成し、ボーカル・ギターとして活動スタート。2015年3月、同バンドの無期限活動休止後、ソロ活動を開始。2017年3月、新たなバンド「2」を結成。2021年6月に活動休止し、2022年2月22日にバンド名を「THE 2」に改め再開。2024年2月22日に解散。

俳優としては、2014年、映画『日々ロック』でデビュー。以降、NHK連続テレビ小説『ひよっこ』、映画『ナラタージュ』、NHK大河ドラマ『光る君へ』などに出演。主演映画に『いちごの唄』『アイムクレイジー』などがある。

2025年3月に初の著書「カトマンズに飛ばされて 旅嫌いな僕のアジア10カ国激闘日記」 を幻冬舎より刊行。

2026年4月15日、ソロとしては10年ぶりとなる2nd Full Album 「TAYUTAU」をリリースし、ソロ活動本格再始動。

In 2008, formed the band The SALOVERS and began his career as a vocalist and guitarist. After the band went on indefinite hiatus in March 2015, he launched his solo career. In March 2017, he formed a new band, 2, which later resumed activities under the name THE 2 in 2022 before disbanding in February 2024.

As an actor, he made his debut in the 2014 film Hibi Rock, and has since appeared in various works including the NHK morning drama Hiyokko, the film Narratage, and the NHK historical drama Dear Radiance (Hikaru Kimi e). He has also starred in films such as Ichigo no Uta and I’m Crazy.

In March 2025, he published his first book, Blown Away to Kathmandu: A Travel-Hater’s Intense Journey Through 10 Asian Countries.

On April 15, 2026, he will release his second full-length album TAYUTAU, marking his first solo album in ten years and the full-scale restart of his solo career.
